CAP & Agricultural Contracts Compliance Checklist

Ratio permanent grassland / total UAA must not decrease by more than 5% compared to the regional reference.
Conversion or ploughing of designated wetlands and peatlands is prohibited.
Burning crop residues is prohibited except with prefectural waiver for sanitary reasons.
Grass buffer strip of at least 5m along BCAE watercourses. No phytosanitary treatment or fertiliser.
Soil cover during periods at risk of leaching (catch crops, volunteer plants, chopped residues).
Maintenance of minimum soil cover during the most sensitive periods.
Mandatory rotation on arable land: at least 1 change of main crop on 35% of the area per year.
At least 4% of arable UAA dedicated to non-productive areas (fallow, hedges, ponds, trees).
Conversion of sensitive permanent grassland designated in Natura 2000 zones is prohibited.
Compliance with the nitrates action programme: 170 kg N/ha ceiling, prohibited spreading periods, storage capacity.
Compliance with species and habitat protection measures in Natura 2000 zones.
Individual Certiphyto certificate is mandatory for purchasing, selling, advising on, and applying plant protection products.
Compliance with safety distances from water bodies (5 to 100m depending on product) and dwellings (DSR/DSAR).
Gloves, overalls, mask, goggles conforming to the recommendations of the SDS of the products used.
HACCP plan or application of the sector's Good Hygiene Practice Guide. Mandatory for any food supply.
Temperature records at each stage (storage, transport, delivery). Records kept.
Sufficient storage capacity, up-to-date spreading plan, regulatory distances respected.
Hedges, grass strips, nest boxes, soil cover contributing to farm biodiversity.
AB, HVE, Label Rouge, AOP/IGP, Fair Trade. Attach certificates in current validity.
For public collective catering: 50% sustainable/quality products including 20% organic minimum (EGAlim 2 law).
Formats adapted to collective catering. Packaging compliant with food contact regulations.
